Summer is coming, and with our favorite season, comes a line up of fun festivities around the city. Be  sure to include one (of all) of these Music Festivals in NYC when making your summer plans. 

ROCKS OFF CONCERT CRUISES

GOVERNORS BALL

OZY FEST

This is more than a music festival. Held in Central Park's Great lawn, this year's OZY Fest (not to be confused with OZZY FEST) will include musical acts by John Legend, Miguel, Jazzy Amra and ARIZONA along with political discussions with Stacey Abrams and Gov. John Kasich, Spike Lee, Malcolm Gladwell, and Deepak Chopra, and comedy by Trevor Noah, Dulcé Sloan and Ronny Chieng plus a whole lot more!

CITY FARM PRESENTS SUMMER SERIES

BRIC CELEBRATE BROOKLYN

LINCOLN CENTER OUT OF DOORS

This annual concert series celebrating it's 49th year has become a staple of NYC's free outdoor summer concerts. Celebrating NYC's diverse range of music, you will find acts from Wilco Frontman, Jeff Tweedy, to a screening of Disney/Pixar's Coco, to An Evening of Stand-Up Comedy: Roy Wood Jr. & Guests

AFROPUNK FESTIVAL

Inspired by co founder James Spooner's documentary,  Afropunlk is an annual arts festival that includes live music, film, fashion, and art produced by black artists. The festival made its first debut at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in 2005, and has since expanded worldwide to Atlanta, London, Paris and Johannesburg.

MoMA PS1 WARM UP

Now in it's 22nd season, Warm Up is one of the longest running music programs housed within a museum. Running every Saturday in July and August at MoMA PS1, you'll dance the day away to today's coolest musical acts. Past performers include Solange, Cardi B, and Thom Yorke.

ELECTRIC ZOO
